Another category of driver is looking for cars that can be driven to track – maybe even used as a daily driver too. These will still have the needed track mods – brakes, suspension, cooling, diff, geo, tyres…but driveable on the road.

I think the list of cars would still include some of the cars in your list like the MX5, Clio, E36 M3. With one of your cars in the £15k range, then the excellent E46 M3 is also an option.
